10/10 Will Keep Listening

Each episode is full of valuable information with no fluff. I always walk away from them having learned something new and certainly a broadened perspective. I think the host does a great job at perfectly timing his questions as to let the guest fully get their point across. Certaily worth of subbing

Mostly good episodes, far too trusting of government

I’ve really enjoyed these podcasts. There’s a great variety of content and perspectives, some a little dry, some fascinating and informative. Dan is a great host… mostly.
In a recent interview with former FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler, most a very good interview, Dan seemed to be heavily in favor of government regulation of AI. Tom even mentioned that the sudden turnaround of major AI companies (after years of opposition) being open to regulation as a “bright spot”.
WHAT ABOUT REGULATORY CAPTURE DAN!!! I am baffled that a man as smart as Dan could fail to ask the obvious question: Maybe they are suddenly open to regulations as a way to keep a corner and the market and exclude new competitors?! The question is so obvious (and routinely speculated on), I almost think Dan deliberately avoided the question. Deeply disappointed, and I hope Dan will cover this extremely important question soon.
